Hospital Board Members
Board members of Butabika National Referral Hospital play a vital role in the governance and strategic oversight of the institution. The Board headed by the Chairperson and consists of other ten members.
They provide leadership on financial matters, ensuring that public funds are used efficiently and transparently. Board members also assess the hospital’s performance by reviewing reports, monitoring service delivery, and advising on areas for improvement.
Additionally, they offer professional guidance to the hospital’s management team, drawing from their experience in health care, administration, public policy, or community service. In essence, the board safeguards the hospital’s accountability, integrity, and commitment to delivering quality mental health services to the Ugandan population.
